As we see this world around us grow at an astounding rate there are people that are being left behind. We American’s enjoy our hamburgers Starbucks and DSL connections while other people in developing parts of the world struggle to porvide one meal a day.
Emerging technologies highlights the efforts other countries are making to change their communities
through new ideas and new technologies. To support those efforts, we are members of TED,
which stands for Technologies Entertainment Design. The annual conference started in 1984, and its efforts to bring the top
entertainers, designers, and doers has grown substantially. Now TED posts videos of their top speakers weekly.
Each person from their respective genre has a passion for their craft. They understand that what they create can
touch millions of people’s lives and make this world a better place through their work.
Technologies are not the Holy Grail to solving the world’s ills, it's only a tool. A step in the right direction. So we will be highlighting new technologies that we feel have great potential of doing just that! Check back to this section or visit our blog. See you soon:)
